On this day in 1991, Compton native DJ Quik released his classic debut album Quik Is The Name. This album was certified Platinum & remains his best selling album to date. It includes the singles Tonight, Born & Raised In Compton & the title track Quik Is The Name. It also includes the first installment of his Quik's Groove anthology.
