#VitalFactz: 23rd Anniversary - Pete Rock (Soul Survivor)

On this day in 1998, legendary producer Pete Rock released his debut studio solo LP Soul Survivor. This album features guests appearances from many of Hip Hop's heavyweights. These rappers includes MC Eiht, Kurupt, Prodigy of Mobb deep, Stcky Fingaz from Onyx, Big Pun (RIP), Common, Heavy D (RIP), Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, Kool G Rap, members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Large Professor & a few others. The songs released as singles were Tru Master & Take Your Time, which features all three original members of the well known & loved British R&B group Loose Ends.
