On this day in 2001, Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Jay-Z released his Double Platinum selling 6th studio album The Blueprint. It was his 4th consecutive album to peak at #1 on both the Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart & The R&B Albums Chart. It includes the singles Izzo (H.O.V.A.), Girls, Girls, Girls, Song Cry & Jigga That Nigga. It also includes the song Renegade, a song he did with Eminem which Em ORIGINALLY did with Royce da 5'9. Another album favorite is The Takeover, which was a shot at Mobb Deep & Nas.
