On this day in 1999, Detroit native Eninem released his second album The Slim Shady LP. This would be his first album on Dr. Dre's Aftermath label. The album sold over 5 million copies in the US & peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums chart. It includes the singles My Name Is, Role Model as well as Guilty Conscience.
