On this day in 2003, Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Jay-Z released his 8th album The Black Album. This release was certified 4x Platinum & would be his 6th consecutive album to peak at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart as well as the R&B Albums Chart.. It includes the singles Change Clothes, Dirt Off Your Shoulder and 99 Problems.
