On this day in 2001, Murder Inc. artist Ja Rule released his 3x Platinum selling 3rd studio album Pain Is Love. This album (like the previous one) peaked at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart as well as the R&B Albums Chart. It includes the singles Always On Time, Down Ass Bitch & Livin' It Up.
