On this day in 1984, pioneer group Whodini released their 2nd studio album Escape. This album is their most successful one to date. It was also one of the first Hip Hop albums to be certified Platinum. It includes the singles Friends, Big Mouth, Freaks Come Out At Night, Five Minutes Of Funk as well as Escape (I Need A Break).
