On this day in 1994, Atlanta based duo Outkast (the first rap act signed to LaFace Records) released their debut studio album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. This album was certified Platinum. It includes the singles Player's Ball, Git Up, Git Out as well the title track Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
