On this day in 1998, Terror Squad member Big Pun released his highly anticipated debut album Capital Punishment. This album was certified Platinum, making Pun the first (solo) Latino rapper to reach this plateau. Sadly, this would be the only album released during his lifetime. It includes the singles I'm Not a Player, Still Not a Player, You Came Up & Twinz (Deep Cover 98).
