On this day in 1997, Will Smith (of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince) released his debut solo studio album Big Willie Style. This album was a huge success. It sold over 9 million copies in the US. It includes the singles Men In Black & Gettin' Jiggy Wit It, both of which he won Grammys for. The other singles off the album were Just The Two Of Us & Miami.
