On this day in 1996, West Coast trio Westside Connection released their highly anticipated debut album Bow Down. This group consists of Ice Cube, Mack 10 & WC. The album was certified Platinum. It peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart & topped The R&B Albums Chart. It includes the single Gangstas Make the World Go Round as well as the title track Bow Down.
