Happy Birthday Talib Kweli Greene. Born October 3, 1975. Greene, who is originally from Brooklyn, New York made his rapping debut in 1996, with featured five appearances on Doom, an album by Cincinnati, Ohio group Mood. In 1998 upon returning to the NYC, he teamed up with fellow Brooklyn MC Mos Def. Together they released the classic collaboration album Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star, which included the singles Definition & Respiration. In 2000 he teamed up with Cincinnati rapper/producer Hi-Tek to form Reflection Eternal & released the album Train of Thought. this album features the singles Move Somethin' & The Blast. In 2004 he made a guest appearance on Pete Rock's Soul Survivor II album on the song Fly Till I Die. As a solo artist he has 8 studio albums to his credit. some of his most recognized singles include Waitin' For The DJ, Get By, I Try & Never Been In Love.
