On this day in 1988, legendary MC Lyte released her debut album Lyte As A Rock. Her only official single from the album was Paper Thin, which topped the Hot Rap Singles Chart. This album includes favorites such as 10% Dis & I Cram To Understand You as well as the title track Lyte As A Rock.
