#VitalFactz: 29th Anniversary - The D.O.C. (No One Can Do It Better)

On this day in 1989, Dallas Texas native The D.O.C. released his debut LP No One Can Do It Better. This album (produced by Dr. Dre) was certified Platinum. It includes the singles It's Funky Enough, The D.O.C. & The Doctor & The Formula. Sadly, he was unable to make a successful follow-up album to this masterpiece due to a near-fatal car accident he suffered in November of '89. He suffered severe injuries, mainly to his larynx which ruined his voice.
