On this day in 1998, rappers Keith Murray, Redman & his mentor Erick Sermon (of EPMD) formed a trio known as Def Squad. They released their only album to date El Nino. This album was certified Gold. It includes the singles Full Cooperation, The Game & Def Squad Delite, a remake of Sugar Hill Gang's Rapper's Delite.
