Happy Birthday @memphisbleek Memphis Bleek. Born Malik Deshawn Cox June 23, 1978. Malik got his start as part of the Roc-A-Fella Dynasty. He would make his first appearance on Jay-Z's debut album Reasonable Doubt when he spars with him on the track Coming Of Age. In August of 1999 he would release his debut album Coming of Age. This album was certified Gold & peaked at #1 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart as well as the Rap Albums Chart. In 2000 he released his second album The Understanding, another gold seller which duplicated his debut album's chart success. Although Roc-A-Fella is no longer active, Bleek still remains close to his mentor & Roc-A-Fella co-owner Jay-Z, who attended Bleek's wedding in 2014.
