#VitalFactz: 30th Anniversary - Stetsasonic (In Full Gear)

On this day in 1988, Brooklyn based group Stetsasonic released their second album In Full Gear. This album features the single Talking All That Jazz, which (according to Prince Paul) was a response to comments allegedly made about Hip Hop by the legendary Grammy winning R&B musician/producer James Mtume. Paul claims that Mtume stated that Hip Hop isn't really an art form. This statement pissed off group member Daddy-O, thus came the motivation for Talkin' All That Jazz.
