On this day in 1996, Oakland legend Too Short released his 10th LP Gettin' It (Album Number Ten). This album reached Platinum status (his 6th consecutive album to do so) & is his most successful album chart-wise. It peaked at #3 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart & topped The R&B Albums Chart.
