On this day in 1986, Hollis Queens legends Run-D.M.C. released their their studio album Raising Hell. This would be their most successful album to date. It reached Platinum status & peaked at #3 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart. It includes the remake of Aerosmith's single Walk This Way as well as It's Tricky, My Adidas & Peter Piper.
