Happy Birthday @BunBTrillOG Bun B. Born Bernard Freeman March 19, 1973. Freeman, a Port Arthur, Texas rose to fame in the industry as one half of the Legendary duo UGK (Underground Kingz) along with Pimp C (Chad Butler). Together they released 5 official studio albums. Their debut album, 1992's Too Hard To Swallow featured the single Something Good. Their 2nd album Super Tight, which was released in '94 included the single It's Supposed To Bubble. In 1996 UGK would release their biggest success sales-wise with release of their third album Ridin' Dirty. It sold over 850,000 units. In 2005 Bun would release his first solo album Trill which was Certified Gold. In 2007 UGK released the Double CD simply titled Underground Kingz. This would be their highest charting album to date as it peaked at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart and The R&B Albums Chart. Sadly, this would be the final album the duo would release together due to the unfortunate passing of his partner Pimp C 4 months after this album was released. Freeman has been riding solo ever since, but not before putting out one final UGK album UGK 4 Life. This album was comprised to previously unreleased material. In 2008 Bun released his second solo album II Trill. This would be his highest charting album to date as it peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart & #1 on The R&B Albums Chart, The Rap Albums Chart and The Independent Albums Chart. Freeman has 5 solo albums to date & is still representing his beloved Lone Star State.
