As we celebrate women in the Hip Hop industry we focus today on Deidra Muriel Roper A.K.A DJ Spinderella. Throughout her career she’s managed to attain the titles of: DJ, rapper, producer and actress. Spinderalla got her start as a member of the hip-hop group Salt-n-Pepa. They released five studio albums and saw several platinum and gold singles. Spinderella has also produced several songs on the group's albums. The group disbanded in 2002, before reforming in 2007.
