Happy Birthday @Timbaland Timbaland. Born Timothy Zachery Mosley March 10, 1972. Timothy, a Virginia native got his start as a protege of Jodeci member Devate Swing. He would end up working on Jodeci projects. But it wasn't until 1996 when he produced Ginuwine's debut album Ginuwine...the Bachelor that he started to gain real attention. The album went Double Platinum. It was that year that he was also a major contributor (along with Missy Elliot) to Aaliyah's second album One In A Million, producing 9 of the 17 tracks. His input propelled the album to Double Platinum Status (same as her first album) thus further making his mark in the industry. He has gone on to produce for acts such as 702, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Playa, S.W.V., Missy Elliot, Destiny's Child, Bubba Sparxxx, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake & others. He's had success as a solo artist as well. His second album Shock Value went Platinum & featured the smash hits The Way I Are & Apologize. Timbaland has 4 Grammy Awards, 13 Awards total to his credit.
