Happy Birthday Beanie Sigel. Born Dwight Equan Grant March 6, 1974. Grant (whose stage name is that of a street in his native Philadelphia) started making a name for himself as a member of the foundation known to the industry as Roc-A-Fella. Before he launched his solo career, he was featured on tracks such as Jay-z's Do It Again. In 2000 he released his debut solo album The Truth. This album was certified Gold & was the first of 3 consecutive albums to peak at #1 on Billboard's rap Albums Chart. It included the single Remember Them Days as well as the title track. The following year he released his sophomore album The Reason. Despite the decrease in record sales, the album included his most successful single date, which is Beanie (Mack Bitch). Beanie has a total of 5 studio albums and 5 mixtapes to his credit.
