Happy Birthday Rick Ross. Born William Leonard Roberts II January 28, 1976. Roberts is originally from Clarksdale, Mississippi but grew up in Miami, Florida. He signed to Slip-N-Slide Records in 2006 and released his debut album Port Of Miami. This album was certified Platinum & was a huge success. Not only did the album debut at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart as well as top the R&B and Rap Albums Charts, it was also the first of three consecutive albums to do so. It features the Platinum selling single Hustlin' as well as Push It. In 2008 he released the Gold Selling album Trilla. This album features the singles Speedin', The Boss & Here I Am. In 2009 he founded his record label Maybach Music Group & released his third album Deeper Than Rap which includes the single Magnificent. A year later he released the Gold selling album Teflon Don featuring The Double Platinum Single Aston Martin Music as well as B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast) & Super High. In 2012 Ross returned to the top of the Charts (as with his first 3 albums) with his Gold selling release God Forgives, I Don't, featuring Touch 'N You as well as Diced Pineapples. In 2014 he released Mastermind, another Chart Topper which features the single The Devil Is A Lie. Rick Ross has won 3 BET Hip Hop Awards to his credit as well.
