Happy Birthday @chamillionaire Chamillionaire. Born Hakeem Seriki November 28, 1979. Seriki, who is originally from Washington, D.C., at one time teamed up with fellow Houston MC Paul Waul & recorded 2 collaborations (Get Ya Mind Correct in 2002 & Controversy Sells in 2005) before signing to Universal Records. Later in 2005 he released his solo debut The Sound Of Revenge. It sold 800,000 copies within 2 weeks of release. It went on to sell over 1.5 million units in the US. It includes the Gold Selling single Turn It Up & the Quadruple Platinum Selling single Ridin', which earned him a Grammy Award in 2007. His follow-up album that year Ultimate Victory features the Double Platinum single Hip Hop Police (featuring: Slick Rick).
