On this day in 1997, Brooklyn NYC native & Roc-A-Fella co-founder Jay-Z released his second studio album In My Lifetime, Vol. 1. This album sold over 1.4 million copies in the US & features the singles Sunshine, A Million & One Questions as well as The City Is Mine.
