Tyler (who grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana) signed to Jive Records & in 1995 released his Gold selling debut studio album Mind of Mystikal. It features the single Y'all Ain't Ready Yet. His next 2 albums (Unpredictable & Ghetto Fabulous) both went Platinum. They featured the singles Ain't No Limit & That's That Nigga. In 2000 he released his 4th album Let's Get Ready, his most successful album to date. It sold over 2 million copies & topped both the Billboard;s Hot 200 Albums Chart & The R&B Albums Chart. It includes his 2 biggest hits Shake Ya Ass (which earned him a Soul Train Music Award in 2001 for Best Music Video) & Danger (Been So Long), both of which were produced by The Neptunes. In 2001 he released his Gold Selling 5th studio album Tarantula which includes the hir single Bouncin' Back (Bumpin' Me Against the Wall).
