Happy Birthday @DaRealPetey Petey Pablo. Born Moses Mortimer Barrett III July 22, 1973. Petey, a native of Greenville, North Carolina, signed to Jive Records. In 2001 he released his debut album Diary Of A Sinner: 1st Entry, which reached Gold status. It included the single Raise Up, which sat at #1 on the Hot Rap Singles Chart for 10 straight weeks. In May 2004 Petey released his follow-up album Still Writing In My Diary: 2nd Entry, which also reached Gold status. This album included the Platinum selling single Freak-A-Leek.
