On this day in 1993, Cypress Hill released their highly anticipated sophomore effort Black Sunday. Fortunately for the group, not only did this album elude the sophomore jinx. It turned out to be the group's biggest selling & highest charting album to date. It reached Triple Platinum Status & debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums Chart. It also reached #1 on The R&B Albums Chart. It includes the singles Insane In The Brain, When The Shit Goes Down & I Ain't Goin' Out Like That.
