Happy Bornday @PeteRock Pete Rock. Born Peter Phillips June 21, 1970. Pete (a DJ & record producer) is well known for his partnership with rapper CL Smooth. Together they released the '91 EP All Souled Out, the '92 full length album Mecca & The Soul Brother & the '94 album The Main Ingredient. Pete has produced tracks (& remixes) for various artists such as Heavy D, House Of Pain, Public Enemy, K-Solo, Naughty By Nature, Das EFX, Slick Rick & many others.
