Redman was first discovered by Erick Sermon (of EPMD) while he was a DJ for Lords Of The Underground. He first appeared on EPMD's 3rd album Business As Usual. In 1992 he dropped his debut Whut? Thee Album. This release reached Gold status as did the following 2 albums
Dare Iz a Darkside & Muddy Watters. His 4th album Doc's da Name 2000 went Platinum
