DEZERT EEZ (FEAT. TALIB KWELI) – ROLEX DREAMIN

The Michigan-based crew Dezert Eez kick off their 6th album (since their 2005 debut mixtape, The Realness), with lead single, “Rolex Dreamin’,” which starts off with a verse from the veteran Brooklyn MC Talib Kweli, followed by the trio of 5-Star, Nivek, and O’Nill. Kweli sounds right at home over the jazzy Thovo Production. The group shows their confidence by letting him go first. Most people put the celebrity guest feature last on a track, but Dezert Eez have no need to follow that convention. The single is off their album Late Night Cognac Sessions, on iTunes’ for pre-order, dropping November 3rd through all major digital retailers and streaming outlets, via Soul Krush.
