I remember feeling somewhat like this about most of my favorite artist at some point in their career. I think its because they see themselves as growing or evolving - because that's what the surrounding party tells them. Then again who are we to judge as a Fan (we only assist in the the growth of their Wealth)… People may Change, Circumstances Don’t. J. Cole is definitely Vital to the times.
