Hailing from Brownsville, BK, by way of the Caribbean, Shaka Double has varied musical influences including Bob Marley, KRS-1, Shinehead, Tupac, Capleton and ODB.  With those influences, it is no wonder why Shaka Double identifies his distinct sound as a fusion of Reggae and HipHop.  Currently working on self-produced Reggae Trap album, Shaka Double says creative chemistry is key for any potential collaborations.  For Shaka Double, HipHop and Reggae aren't just sounds of his landscape, he considers it a way of life.
